Yet another icon has left this mortal coil. Lauren Bacall. She was one of a kind. If you’ve never seen one of her movies, may I recommend “Key Largo,” “Dark Passage” or “To Have & Have Not.”….Sharing these two items from Pulse of Radio: As the world continues to mourn actor and comedian Robin Williams following his death on Monday, (Aug 11th) artists from every field of entertainment are sharing their thoughts about the late comic giant. We caught up with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale on yesterday (August 12th) in LA and asked him to share what he’ll remember most about Williams: “For me personally, along with his film work, it was his stand-up work that was just completely mesmerizing. He was just from literally another dimension, the way that he could bounce around, and his delivery, his timing, the subject matter — and just his humanity and his warmth and compassion, and as we’ve seen so often, behind all that warmth and compassion there’s such a sadness as well. The scanners are based at each concert location in trucks decorated with the Linkin Park and Staramba logo. In keeping with their futuristic souvenirs, Linkin Park is bringing a high-tech live show on the road this time, as frontman Mike Shinoda explained: “One of the challenges that I posed on the production team was, based on what we decide to do with the show every night, if we decide to play something differently, if we decide to extend a part or whatever we want to do, I want the artwork to change with the performance. So it needs to be malleable and that’s where the real production challenges start to arise.“…. Meanwhile, here is the trailer for Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn‘s first feature film, Mall.
