It was great seeing him, talking about the new Hellyeah Blood For Blood album (their 4th and first produced by Kevin Churko) and getting some old skool stories about Pantera in honor of the 20th anniversary of their heavy Far Beyond Driven album. Today over on iTunes, you can get two tracks off the record, the single “Sangre Por Sangre” and “Cross To Bier (Cradle Bones.)” The album officially drops Jun 10th. Vin talked about the departure of Greg Tribbett and Bob Zilla, the addition of Bloodsimple and Monstro! bassist Kyle Saunders and Chris Brodie (touring guitarist), too….Meanwhile, Lou Brutus gets on the hotLine with our close personal friend Rick Dejesus of Adelitas Way. Their new album, produced by Nick Raskulinecz, will be dropping later this summer and a single is coming this week called “Dog On A Leash.” Think you’re gonna like the new stuff a lot!….Pulse of Radio reports Linkin Park might be involved for the fourth straight time in the music for a new Transformers movie, according to Transformer World 2005. Asked whether they would contribute to the new entry, Transformers: Age Of Extinction, singer Chester Bennington said, “We’ve been very fortunate; working with the Transformers franchise. It’s been great for us. Transformers (4) is coming out this summer and it makes total sense for us to be a part of that as well. So (we are) looking forward to (see) how that’s going to unfold.” (See trailer.) Linkin Park last contributed the song “Iridescent” to the previous film in the series, 2011’s Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. It served as the lead single from the movie’s accompanying soundtrack. Linkin Park also contributed tunes to both 2007’s Transformers and 2009’s Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen….Rolling Stone has the video premiere for Motorhead‘s “Crying Shame” lyric video you can see it here.
