Unused - Tuesday, MAY 12

Hello!   Mark Tremonti and his band did a BLISTERING set last night at the Highline Ballroom here in NYC.  I gotta tell ya, with no rock station in NYC, the fans PACKED the club, bought the merch and showed their love for Mark and his band.  They stood at attention listening to the new music he played from the forthcoming Cauterize album, which included the title track, “Flying Monkeys” (riffs as chunky as they get!)  and the new single,  “Another Heart.”  Mark also did a cover of Big Wreck‘s “Prayer.”  (He’s never done a cover in his sets before I don’t think.)  His band is tight as ever, and in dunno, seems like h is drummer Garrett Whitlock took some steroids or something. He drumming is off the hook!  We’ll have some exciting news to share about Tremonti in the coming weeks, so STAY TUNED. I’ll be posting some shot on the APP later today….This morning, my pal and avid Seahawks’ fan, Duff McKagan returns to the hardDriveRadio studios to talk about his new book that is out today: How To Be A Man (and other illusions.)  It’s a great read (as I have mentioned before) and I think you should definitely pick up a copy!….Will also be on the hotLine today with Corey Taylor.  He’s gonna be on our Cover It Up special edition of hardDrive Memorial Day weekend!  I’ll try to get the lowdown on his new book coming in July…..In This Moment have added new dates for June and July in Road Rage with 36 Crazyfists and Defiled.  And 3 Doors Down have also announced dates with Seether, Theory of a Deadman and Collective Soul…..Here’s a fan-filmed Deftones‘ show from last weekend’s Rock in Rio out in Las Vegas. Their new album is tentatively set for Sep 25th.
