 Come on, I thought this new Tim BurtonDark Shadows” movie was going to be like the 1960′s tv series I would rush home from high school to watch!   They’ve turned it into a
mockery!  It’s not supposed to be FUNNY!   UGH! And Johnny Depp!  For shame!….Foo Fighters and Metallica are sharing the bill at the 5th annual Outside Lands Festival Aug 10-12 in San Francisco, CA @ Golden Gate Park.  They’ll share the bill with Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Stevie Wonder, Jack White, Skrillex, Fun., Portugal, Franz Ferdinand, The KIlls and more.  Tix will be available tomorrow at 9 AM ET/Noon PT.  Hit the site for more….Speaking of Metallica, Metal Hammer, UK’s premiere metal mag, is issuing a special 30th anniversary edition of Metallica’s So What?   The fan club mag will chronicle Metallica’s week long celebration in San Francisco at the Fillmore back in December. It hits stands May 14th, and also available here….Van Halen have added 18 more US  shows and I’ve got em for ya in Road Rage….Found out that free download of Soundgarden‘s “Live to Rise” over on iTunes is a longer version with a longer intro and more guitar parts from Kim ThayilRise Against are releasing an EP “Satellite” with the song and video, plus live versions of “Savior” and “A Thousand Good Intentions.”  At the iTunes store…As you know, we’ve been spotlighting the topic of bullying on our Facebook as well a on hardDrive XL, and I am excited to report a new website specifically to address and help victims of bullying called Bullyville.com.  It’s the internet’s first anti-bullying social website which will include celebs, musicians and professionals who will tell their stories and offer support and help. Very cool.  Happy 38th to Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge & Creed!   His new solo album is great and a single is coming in a couple of weeks!
