Happy Wednesday! And special THANK YOU to all the hardDriveRadio listeners who came out in full force last night to chat with Lou Brutus on the Interact Live page of the new hardDriveRadio APP! (I’m sure he has blisters on his fingertips today!) There’ll be another chat on Monday, Apr 20th at 11 PM ET/10 PM CT/9 PM MT/8 PM PT with Ronnie Radke of Falling In Reverse! Mark your calendars!…..Pulse Of Radio reports Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory has revealed “all the music is done” for the band’s next album in a video message he posted on Instagram. Bathory added singer Ivan Moody is currently in the studio “recording the remaining vocals” for the CD, which is expected out before the end of the year. Bathory also noted he was working on posters for an upcoming tour, which may also feature Papa Roach. Five Finger Death Punch is one of the most popular metal acts of the past several years and Bathory told us staying focused is the key to the band’s success: “I think the idea of ‘rock star’ has changed in the last two decades. The whole idea of like, ‘hey, let’s party, let’s drink or do stuff that’s stupid’ doesn’t work. It’s a different world now. You have to be really conscious of what’s happening, because it’s so much harder now. You really have to work for it, you really have to know what you’re doing, you have to be aggressive, goal-oriented, and you have to have a head on your shoulders, or it’s just not gonna happen.” Guitarist Jason Hook recently told The Blairing Out With Eric Blair Show that the group already has a title for the album picked out, but did not say what it was. Five Finger Death Punch released its last effort, The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell, in two parts, with the first arriving in July 2013 and the second following in November 2013. Looking forward to hearing more soon!….See Road Rage for new tour dates for Rise Against with Killswitch Engage and letlive! Awesome bill if you ask me! Tix on sale Friday!…..Wha whoa! What happened here? Marilyn Manson was reportedly involved in an altercation at a Denny’s restaurant in Lethbridge, Alberta (Canada) on Saturday night of April 4th, shortly after performing a show at the ENMAX Center. According to TMZ, Manson was in the restaurant at around 2:30 in the morning when he exchanged words with a group at another table, leading to Manson getting punched in the face. Manson reportedly called the girlfriend of the man who punched him a “bitch.” Police confirmed a disturbance of some sort happened at the Denny’s, but no charges were filed by either party and the case is now closed. There has been no comment on the incident from the Manson camp. Marilyn Manson is currently on the spring leg of his “Hell Not Hallelujah” tour in support of his latest album, The Pale Emperor. The trek next stops in Winnipeg on Thursday (April 9th) and will conclude May 13 in Grand Rapids, MI. Manson will hit the road once again in July for a string of co-headlining shows with the Smashing Pumpkins. However, Manson’s manager released a statement through TMZ that denied those reports. Manson claims he was taking a picture with two female fans when the man came out of nowhere and sucker punched him. His security intervened, pulling the attacker away as he was “screaming about blowing up Manson’s next concert.” Manson’s makeup artist was elbowed in the kerfuffle, and the pair intend to press charges. So there ya go. There’s always two sides to the story (as reprinted from Pulse Of Radio & Consequence Of Sound)…..Saint Asteria.
