SNOWMAGEDDON 2015 IS HERE! MONSTER STORM is coming! NYC is expecting a little over 2 FEET of SNOW! Of course, because we have to leave for a convention in Las Vegas! I hope I can get out of JFK by Wednesday or I will be really BUMMED OUT! ARGH!…..Pretty stoked because I have two, maybe 3 interviews to do today. At Noon, Tyler Bates who produced and performs on Marilyn Manson‘s new album, The Pale Emperor, will drop by at and at 3:30, Rise Against come in. They want to try to catch a plane out to head back home to Chicago. They hung out on the east coast after their tour was cancelled to do press. Looking forward to meeting Tim McIlrath and Joe Principe! And still waiting to see if I will get with Mr Manson. Me thinks the chances are getting dimmer….Got his from Pulse Of Radio this morning: Papa Roach is streaming its new album, F.E.A.R., in its entirety online just ahead of its release date on Tuesday (January 27th). The band has already unveiled several songs from the record, including the title track and first single, but now fans can listen to the band’s eighth studio effort from front to finish. Songs on the CD include “Skeletons,” “Broken As Me,” “Love Me Till It Hurts,” “Never Have To Say Goodbye” and “Gravity,” which features In This Moment‘s Maria Brink. Frontman Jacoby Shaddix told me “Gravity” is about his relationship with his wife and their ups and downs. I asked him how his wife Kelly reacted to it when she first heard it: “You know, we’ve been together for 21 years now and we’ve had some really high highs and just some crazy, insane lows and I got to the other side of the track and finished it up and I’m like, ‘I don’t want to play this song for my wife (laughs), she’s gonna hate me!’ You know? But that was like, I think that those moments are what makes this record special.” F.E.A.R. follows up Papa Roach’s 2012 effort, The Connection. The title track from the new disc is a Top 10 hit at rock radio. Papa Roach and Seether are currently on a co-headlining North American tour that brings the bands to Kansas City on Tuesday….Sounds like Kirk Hammett‘s little evil horror festival is gearing up to be a major hit this year! Loudwire reports Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor, Slash and Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 have been added to the lineup of guests appearing at the Metallica guitarist’s second annual Fear FestEvil horror and music gathering. All three will take part in a panel at the event, which is scheduled for April 11th and 12th in San Jose, California. It is not known whether any of the three will also participate in the weekend’s musical activities, but if I know anything about those 3, it will be a jam fest!!! Meanwhile, members of Slipknot, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Clown and Chris Fehn, joined Korn onstage Friday night (Jan 23rd) at the SSE Arena in London, England during the two bands’ joint U.K. tour to perform at cover of the Beastie Boys song “Sabotage.” Fan-filmed video footage of the collaboration has been posted online. Prior to the gig, a post on Korn’s Instagram account hinted the two bands were “maybe doing a cover tonight in London” with a photo of the musicians performing together in soundcheck. Korn later announced on Twitter that a video of the entire “Sabotage” performance will be made available at some point in the future. Love love LOVE it!…Here are two celebrity birthday KINGS!
